Finally I can write about my biggest dessert project so far. Eid Aux 08 was a Eid-ul-Fitr celebration in Augsburg for malaysian students mostly in Bavaria. Here’s the list of the dessert’s menu :
Chocolate Banana Cake:

Chocolate Mousse Cake (Mini Version):

Japanese Cheesecake (Square Version):

Three kind of Jelly Milk with canned Fruits - Rose Flavour with Fruits Cocktail, Pandan Flavour with Peaches and Lemon Flavour with Clementine. (No photo available)
Kek Batik (Specially made by Laili also unfortunately no photo available)

Wednesday.
Most of the ingredients were bought that day. I stayed up until morning making chocolate decoration. Took me a while longer since I had to make it a few times before I got it right. I always missed the exact temperature for the chocolate. I already read about those some times ago, but only until recently decided to learn it properly. Finished about at 6 am, so I thought I could relax a bit before going to class. I only have class in the morning so I thought I will only sleep after that. But 2 hours to wait seem too long, I felt asleep a few minutes later ^^.
Thursday.
Wake at noon. After making some lunch, continue to buy more Ingredients . Planning to start baking early, but my Big Black Magic Book…er wait wrong one, I mean my Big Black Secret Recipe Book cannot be open. It is yet to be a solid shiny big black book as I want it, it’s now in hidden in my laptop. After a lots of yelling, some pleading, a bit of threatening and as a last resort begging on my knee, I was able to open it after a few hours later, my laptop ist a bit emo these day ^^.
Working alone in the middle of night baking cake seem normal to me now ^^. I manage to bake most of the cake that night (Choc cake, banana choc cake, cheesecake and tablerone cheesecake). So I stayed up until 6 am again today but I didn’t felt asleep this time.
Friday.
Because of something important, I can’t skipped class that day. I did miraculously manage to stay focus for that first 3 hours, although barely. It never feels that comfortable to sit in the lecture before, well maybe after standing most of the night, that’ll do the trick ^^.
After class I hurriedly went to mosque for friday prayer,. At 2 pm I was not that sleepy anymore, so I went to settle some personal stuff and went back home a couple hours later. From 5pm the journey continued. This time mostly making cream and filling and after that assembly and decorating. Adela came to help that evening, so we ‘braved’ it this time together ^^. Lack of sleep making me a bit agitated but thanksfully if it’s not for her, I would give up already and call sick for tommorrow.
Hakim supposed to come that evening, but I called him not to and asked him to come on friday morning instead. Cause by having limited utenstils, I can’t do a lot at the same times, so a second helper would not help much, in fact from last experience, more than 2 person get things chattery and made hand move slowly ^^.
Adela went home at 3am and I could actually went to sleep cause everything practically done. But if I stoped then, everything would be so ‘ugly’ that I would be too shame to admit that I made those^^. Thanks god for already practising with tempering chocolate, I made the rest of the chocolate decoration.
After chocolate decoration, I needed, or more specifically wanted to make buttercream roses. Even at that time I didn’t sleep for 36 hours already, decorating dessert is my favourite part, so how could I stop just like that ^^.
Saturday.
So by 6 to 7 a.m, I finished all the decorating. Well almost all, cause some of will be done at the event, fearing it’ll fall apart when transporting. We used tram so that’s why. Thinking Hakim and Laili will come later, 2 hours of sleep isn’t really that tempting. So I urge one of my housemate who also in my team to buy more eggs and butter. He’s in charge of buying stuff, packaging for transporting, and most importanly cleaning up after. Afterall I hate doing dishes with passion ^^. I decided to make another tray of cream puff, one seems not enough. When laili came later, she helped made it. She did a wonderful jobs. Hakim help with choc decoration for Tablerone Cheesecake. Finished everything at 11 a.m so hurriedly carrying everything there.. Eventhough it should by then, thanks god the event didn’t start yet , so we had some time so set up the table, filling the cream puff, assembling the decoration and cutting the jelly.
Except for the jelly, I went back with empty plate^^. This is the biggest dessert project I ever made, with total working time of 30hours I managed to prepare for 130 person (thought I’m not sure if all came, but definitely more than one hundred)
In the end, I stayed awake for more than 48hours, that’s must be my new personal record i guess ^^.
p/s I’m going to post these each in one entry next. Unless if someone requesting which one first, I’m going to do it in random order, whichever strikes me fancy me first.

- Tablerone Cheesecake (Recipe)
- Black Cherry Cheesecake (Recipe)
