I called this recipe as Original Chocolate Cake in my recipe book, cause it was the first recipe I made, not that because  it’s the original chocolate cake existed ^^.

I love this recipe because of the consistency of it’s scrumptious taste every time I made it. I made this cake more often than any other cakes so far.  I got the recipe from my aunt, but the recipe I used now was change a bit, for difficulty to find one of the ingredients here in germany, by using suggestion from my mother. It tastes the same if not better ^^. It was also the first cake I made in germany.

I hadn’t make this cake for quite some times already, so I thought a comeback would be appropriate.

Together with Asi and Hakim, we baked this cake for Ben’s birthday party and brainstorm some Idea for the Cake decoration. We had some crazy Idea but it looks kind of difficult to make, so at the end we decided for ‘B’ form, b for ben ^^. I’m more confidance with my chocolate tempering now, although I did have to start it again at some time when making it. We were late because of me ^^.

This cake was for get well and also farewell party for a good friend of mine. It was a surprise party and it was kind of difficult to trick him to come, since i’m a bad liar, this was proved when I lost badly when playing Bluff with my friends ^^. Since he’s my best friend so it’s not that difficult for him to see me acting wierdly. But at then end, he’s actually knew about it, cause someone slipped it, so much for acting that day ^^.

I’ve been promosing him the choc banana cake for quite some time, although I made it few time since then, but it was always for someone else ^^. It’s not really I didn’t have the chances, but we always said to each other, “it just you, no need for fancy-schmancy things ^^ ” Well we knew each other for 7 years already, we can always said out loud what we honestly think.

I didn’t manage to make the cake decoration as how I planned it, due to time mismanagement ^^. Well at first I want to bake the day before, but I got a little fever, so I thought I’ll bake it tommorow and sleep early that day, but the problem is, I didn’t, and woke up late the next day ^^. Although I start baking at noon, I end up working for almost 8 hours (with a lots of break ^^) that day due to some accident, making it longer than it should be.
